The Korean government has been making various efforts to achieve the national policy goal of developing Korea into the Northeast Asian logistics hub. To initiate support from the private sector for the government's efforts, the Korea International Trade Association established the Korea International Logistics Council, or KILC, on February 4th, 2005.
Considering that logistics and trade are closely linked, becoming the logistics hub is one of the most important goals to achieve for Korea whose economy is highly dependent on international trade. Fortunately, Korea is geographically well positioned to become the logistics hub of Northeast Asia.
The KILC was launched to help transform Korea into the logistics hub of Northeast Asia, offers one-step services to foreign investors interested in making logistics investment in Korea, takes part in improving the business environmentfor foreign investors, and assists Korean logistics firms in entering overseas markets.
The KILC promises you to do its best to offer the highest quality services to foreign investors as well as Korean trading and logistics companies. I ask for your strong support and continued interest in us.
Thank you. |
